In the housing section of "Warranties by Vendors" of our Minnesota State Statutes, it states:

"...In every sale of a completed dwelling, and in every contract for the sale of a dwelling to be completed, the vendor shall warrant to the vendee that during the two-year period from and after the warranty date, the dwelling shall be free from defects caused by faulty installation of plumbing, electrical, heating and cooling systems."

Your heating and cooling systems have been installed to meet or exceed the minimum standards of the appropriate code regulations.  Inspections have been made by the appropriate inspectors and records are on file.

In addition to the Warranty by Statute, many of the manufacturer of the components of your plumbing systems offer extended material warranties. In most cases, labor is not included. Please refer to warranty documentation, if you have a question or concern.
